We invite all PCA members to join us in Madison, WI on Sunday, April 2 for the 2023 Spring Scamper car rally. Hosted by Milwaukee Region SCCA, this 120 mile time-speed-distance rally will take you and your rally partner on a 4-hour driving adventure. Your rallymaster, Jim Crittenden, has prepared an all new rally course through the scenic Wisconsin countryside west of Madison. You'll use the route instruction clues to follow the rally course and try to arrive at each checkpoint at exactly the right time based on the assigned average speeds.

You'll need a smartphone to run the Richta GPS Checkpoint app that will do all of the timing and scoring automatically for you. As soon as you arrive at each checkpoint, the Richta app will record your arrival time and announce your score and tell you whether you were early or late. The Richta app now has a voice option so it literally does "announce" your leg score - you don't have to read it on your phone. You can use this immediate feedback to know exactly how you're doing and apply this to improving your rally driving skill.

We'll be starting in Verona (10 miles southwest of Madison) and we'll finish at Dottie's Restaurant in Cross Plains where you can enjoy food and beverage while we will award trophies to the top teams.

Online registration is now open at msreg.com/springscamper2023. Entry fee is $22.50/person and 2 people are required in each car.

Line up a rally partner, register online and prepare to bring that car you love to drive and join us Sunday, April 2 in Madison for the 2023 Spring Scamper.

Note: This event is not sponsored by PCA or the Milwaukee region
