Region concours competition to be held during 2018 Show & Glow Paddock on Aug. 5

Concours competition is returning to the Milwaukee region’s annual schedule of events under the leadership of region member Gene Guszkowski, Concours chair. The region’s previous concours competition was held in 2010 to celebrate the region’s 50th anniversary.

Concours is a judged event in which vehicles are assessed for their overall cleanliness. Sparkling glass, gleaming paint, lint- and dust-free interior and more are what attract the judges’ attention. Judges for the region’s concours will only inspect the exterior and interior (including the boot). The engine compartment and undercarriage will not be judged.

If you pride yourself on maintaining the good looks of your Porsche, we encourage you to enter it in our 2018 event which will be held in connection with the Show & Glow Paddock on Aug. 5 in Veterans Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront.

The Paddock is part of the Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance. In past years the Paddock or Club Day was held on the Saturday preceding the invitation-only Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance. In 2018, the two events will be on the same day, thus creating a spectacular display of hundreds of vehicles in a beautiful setting – Veterans Park along Milwaukee’s lakefront.

Awards will be presented to the winners of the region’s concours.

Be part of this exciting car show with your Porsche parked in a special Porsche group display.
