Member of the Year: Wendy Sky
Congratulations to Wendy Sky who is the 2024 Milwaukee region Member of the Year.
Wendy joined PCA in 2016 and immediately became an active participant in many region activities. It wasn't long before she joined the Social committee where she actively planned and executed many region events. She subsequently became chair of that committee and also was elected to the board of directors in 2024. She is currently serving the second year of her two-year term.
The announcement was made by region president Dirk Stallmann at the Holiday Party on Jan. 4.
Dirk noted that whenever an idea surfaces for a new event, Wendy jumps in to help. For example, when the Milwaukee region decided to make the Porsche Sprint Challenge event a multi-region event, Wendy joined Dirk in planning and executing the activity which was enjoyed by members of not only Milwaukee but the Central Wisconsin and Fox Valley regions.
In addition to the trophy commemorating the award, Wendy also received a restaurant gift certificate.
Thank you Wendy for all that you do to strengthen our club. This recognition is much deserved.
