Oct. 19 tour of Motion Products

The region's Tech Sessions committee has set up a tour on Oct. 19 at Motion Products in Neenah, Wis.

Motion Products, Inc. is a world-renowned restoration business in Neenah specializing in classic Italian sportscars, especially Ferraris. Neenah is about 90 minutes driving time from Milwaukee.

Prior to the tour, Classic Mechanics, sister company of MPI, is hosting a cars & coffee starting at 8 a.m. in Appleton. The cars & coffee is open to the public. The cars & coffee is a separate event and not part of the tour nor is it sponsored or hosted by the region or PCA.

Region members are invited to the cars & coffee. Cars & coffee location: 520 E. Northland Ave, Appleton, Wis. While optional, it is strongly advised that we gather at the cars & coffee where we will have a brief orientation at Classic Mechanics and then will follow our host to MPI in Neenah. The MPI building will not be open until our host arrives from the cars & coffee sometime after 11 a.m.

It is about a 16-minute drive from the cars & coffee location to MPI. 838 Main St., Neenah

The tour of MPI is for Milwaukee region members exclusively. Limited to 50 people.

The $10 entry fee will be matched by the region and sent to the PCA Wilderness Trail region in eastern Tennessee which experienced severe flooding from Hurricane Helene. The Wilderness Trail region has reached out to all PCA regions for help. Leo Anderson, region president, said: "Many families in our area have seen their homes and businesses washed away or buried under water and mud. Among those most impacted are the students of David Crockett High School, many of whom were already facing financial difficulties. In light of these recent events, the need to support these students has become even more urgent. A few weeks ago, we launched a charity campaign to assist the students at DCHS, but now we are reaching out to you, our fellow PCA regions, for your help. These students need all the support they can get as they try to rebuild their lives and focus on their education in the aftermath of this disaster."
