Nominations for the Board of Directors now being accepted
Nominations, including self-nominations, for the 2-year region board term starting January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2026, are being accepted. This year, three of the eight members’ terms will expire. That means that we must elect three new members. Nomination will close October 25.
As a result of new bylaws, candidates may now choose to run for a general directorship position or a specific open office position. In 2025, there are two open office positions: Secretary and Treasurer, and one director position open.
When submitting a nomination, the nominee should indicate which position he or she is seeking.
Candidates must be active or family-active region members in good standing. Candidates must submit a statement listing their past involvement in region activities. Additionally, they should list any service on region, zone or national committees. If running for a specific office, any outside experience that would relate to that office, should be included in their statement. Statements should not exceed 200 words and should be submitted as a Word document. Candidates should secure the endorsement of three region members in good standing and note those members’ names when submitting their statement of qualifications. A photo of the candidate (head and shoulders) in a .jpg format should be included in the submittal. Email statement and photo to Alan Wagner (alanbwagner@gmail.com) by October 25.
Jeff Chang, Tom Ingrassia, Wendy Sky, and Dirk Stallmann will serve the second year of their term in 2025. Alan Bloom and Nate Heiking will conclude their terms at the end of this December. Jim DelBalso is also concluding his term at the end of this December and will be running for re-election.
