July 13 Potters picnic and concours hosted by Chicago region

The PCA Chicago region invites Milwaukee region members to this annual event.

Enjoy a day of Porsches, friends, fun, food, beverages, games and music in an open-park setting.

Picnic price: $15 per adult, $5 for ages 12-17, kids under 12 get in free.

The picnic starts at noon and concludes at 7 p.m.

The Fischers will have their excellent brats, hot dogs, salads, fixings, and cold beer and wine. This year, we ask you NOT to bring anything to pass around. Anything you bring must be for your consumption only.

We’ll have family fun for all, with many games for kids and prizes.

A judged Concours contest will be part of the event. Select the Concours registration option if you plan on participating. Your $35 Concours registration fee includes one Adult picnic registration. You can add additional adults and children for the picnic when you register.

We have new judging classes this year. Please note the following:

GRAND TOURING CLASS  240 points                       

Preparation Group 1 Class: exterior, interior, storage, engine Vehicle models: 356, 914/4 & 914/6, 911/912 (1965-1973), 911/912 (1974-1998; 964/993), 911 (1999-2012; 996/997), 924, 944, 968, 928, (1977-1995), Cayenne, Panamera (2000-2011) Limited Production, Modified, Factory Race

Preparation Group 2 Class: exterior, interior, storage, undercarriage Vehicle models 911(991, 2012-on), 1996-1998 911 GT1, Boxster, Cayman (1997-2012), Boxster, Cayman (2013-on), Cayenne, Panamera, & Macan (2012-on), Taycan

TOURING CLASS  175 points

Preparation TOURING CLASS: exterior, interior, storage

(Group 1 & 2 All Vehicles)

STREET CLASS  145 points  

Preparation STREET: exterior and interior only

(Group 1 & 2 All Vehicles)


Preparation EXHIBITION: exterior only

(Group 1 & 2 All Vehicles)

The classes are set up to mirror those used at Porsche Parade and provide several choices from beginner to expert Concours participants. We offer instruction and coaching at every level.

We will also have the Porsche juniors judging program at this event, where future Concours judges can participate. This is open to juniors of all ages who will judge the Concours cars, and awards will also be given. Those interested in participating should sign up at the Concours registration desk at the event.

Please remember to wear your Club Name Tags to help new members feel welcome.

There won’t be onsite registration, so please take a few minutes and register online.

Concours schedule:
11 a.m. Concours check-in opens
12:45 p.m. Judges meeting
1 p.m. Judging begins, and food is served
3:30 p.m. Awards ceremony
